Williamson River-Williams Canyon Walks

November 10, 2018 10:00am–12:00pm

Meet at Collier State Park Day Use Area

Join us on Saturday, November 10th for an easy walk that will begin at the Collier State Park Day Use Area. We will head to the confluence of the Spring Creek and the Williamson River. This one-mile hike is on a level trail that affords views of diving ducks, forest birds, bald eagles, and of course water dippers.

An optional second hike is offered at a remote destination a short drive away (near the USFS Williamson River Campground). This two mile round-trip scenic hike is on a USFS trail with even and level terrain and suitable for all ages. The second hike is to the "lower" Williamson River Canyon and starts at 11 AM. We'll return by 1 PM.

Meet at the Collier State Park Day Use Area (Rest Stop on Highway 97)

Hikes begin at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM

**These hikes are a joint outing between the Klamath Basin Outdoor Group and the Klamath Basin Audubon Society.
