The Great Library Bake Off

December 12, 2018 3:30pm–6:00pm

We’re big fans of the cheerful BBC cooking competition show The Great British Bake Off here at the downtown Klamath County Library, and we’re sharing the sugar-filled fun with easy sweet snack projects for kids and teens on Wednesdays in December at 3:30pm. Check out our “Great Library Bake Off” events:

  • December 5th: Parfait Week! Layer pudding, candy, and graham cracker crunch into a delicious and classy dessert.
  • December 12th: Cheesecake Nachos Week! This indulgently sweet take on the tailgating classic will have you reaching for the graham cracker “tortilla chips” again and again.
  • December 19th: Popcorn Balls Week! A festively sticky favorite, these crunchy, gooey popcorn balls are as fun to eat as they are to make.
  • December 26th: Marshmallow Dippers Week! These candy-cane-and-marshmallow confections are perfect for dunking into a ready mug of hot chocolate.

Registration for these events is not required. Children under 10 should come with a parent or guardian, please. For more information, please call 541-882-8894 or visit the Youth Services desk.

Come join as at Basin Gaming every Wednesday night at 6:30 for our weekly Standard tournament!

For every $5 Entry, 2 packs of the latest set are added to the prize pool. The more players, the better prize support!

Standard is a dynamic format where you build decks and play using cards in your collection from recently released Magic sets. Evolving gameplay and fresh strategies make it one of the most fun and popular ways to play Magic.

Some cards in Standard have alternate versions or were also printed in older sets, and it's okay to use those cards in your deck. If you're not sure about a card, look it up in Gatherer and check the Sets & Legality section.
