October 07, 2018
What an opportunity to stargaze away from the light pollution of the city. On this evening, the moon's illumination will be only 9% as it will be a waning, crescent moon. There will be a telescope on site. There is an easy, one mile hike available for folks who wish to participate. No dogs are allowed on any KLLT hikes/events please.
Difficulty level: Easy
Distance: An optional 1 mile hike is available
KLLT adheres to "Leave No Trace" and "Leave No One Behind" policies and ask that attendees to the same.
Bring your tent, sleeping bag, etc. We are limiting registration for this outing to 10 persons so, sign up early!
This is a family friendly event! If you have children attending, please contact Lisa at (541) 884-1053 or by email at Lisa@klamathlakelandtrust.org. This is so that we can have an accurate count of attendees. On the day of the event parents will be asked to review and sign a waiver form.
