Haunted Cave Tours

October 28, 2018 11:00am–3:00pm

Call (530) 667-8113 to reserve your spot for our 2nd Annual Haunted Cave Tours!

This will be a two-day event this year, with two tours offered on both Saturday, October 27th & Sunday, October 28th. The four frightfully fun tours over the two days of the haunting, both days at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., will each last around one hour, and take up to 20 brave souls each.

The 11:00 a.m. tour will be family friendly, and the 2:00 p.m. will have more scares, spooks and surprises. Though there will be no crawling on either of these frightening tours, there will be instances of ducking and traversing on uneven terrain. Please wear proper footwear (zombies move faster than you think), and be aware that babies cannot be carried or in packs. And while there is no additional charge for this ghostly program, the $20 park entry fee is applicable. The scariest thing of all? Not being able to join these fearfully fantastic tours! Call to reserve your spot, as reservations are required and go quickly. We hope once again to scare you there!

Art and Photography of Glenn and Jesse Justus

October 28, 2018 12:00pm–4:00pm

The Klamath Art Gallery presents a memorable and inspiring exhibit by local father and son, Glenn and Jesse Justus. Works range from stunning photography by Jesse Justus, to outstanding woodworking and painting by Jesse’s father, Glenn. The opening reception for the artists will be held on Sunday, October 7th, from noon to 4 PM. The exhibit will continue through Sunday, October 28th.

Glenn Justus was born in the West Virginia mountains in a little place called Cabin Creek. Justus has travelled a good portion of the globe and his paintings reflect the images captured by his camera. In addition, Justus has been a woodcarver since he was old enough to hold a knife and a leather carver since high school. A Renaissance man, Justus is a musician and a luthier, repairing old instruments and building new ones, and a skilled silversmith.

Glenn Justus is a member of the Klamath Writers Guild wherein he writes songs, stories, and poetry. He has recorded twelve CD’s and a book that includes two CD’s of original songs and poetry. He currently resides in Klamath Falls with his wife, son, and four dogs.

Jesse Justus graduated from Klamath Union High School and became interested in photography in the late 90’s. After becoming an expert in digital camerawork, he was drawn to wildlife photography with a concentration in avian photography. Jesse, like his father, is a Renaissance man with memberships in the Klamath Folk Music Society and Photography as well as the Audubon Society.
