Historic Theaters Trolley Tour

A tour aboard the Klamath County Museum's trolley will highlight several locations in downtown Klamath Falls where movie theaters have operated over the past 125 years. The Museum is partnering with the Ross Ragland Theater to offer this look at the downtown district's vibrant history. The tour includes a guided backstage tour of the Ragland, which itself was one of the city's three big movie houses (and the only one still standing). Cost for the tour is $15 per person. Space is limited, and pre-paid

Learn more about the Modoc culture, how they used this landscape, the fascinating people and tragic timeline of the Modoc War, and how the stories of this site resonate to this day. This hike is about a ½ mile long with little shade and is ranked as moderate. Visitors should bring water and a snack and wear closed-toed shoes.

Join a small interpretive discussion about Lava Beds right at the visitor center! Patio talks help give insightful info on numerous topics at Lava Beds. These talks range from 15-20 minutes in length and can cover numerous topics. This program will take place at outside of the Lava Beds Visitor Center on the patio. Parking is available at the Visitor Center Parking Lot.
