Walking history tour of Walnut Street offered A walking history tour of the Walnut Street area will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, by the Klamath County Museum. The walk will cover several blocks, and last about 45 minutes. Participants are asked to meet at the old city hall, 226 South Fifth St. Topics will include the city's old steam plant, city jail, apartment buildings, the old Gospel Mission (photo at right), and the Scandinavian Hall. The Klamath County Museum is offering a special fundraising history tour of theater sites in Klamath Falls as a benefit for the Ross Ragland Theater. The event will start with a 45-minute tour of old theater sites in the downtown area and will be followed by a short film and special LIVE entertainment back at the Ragland (formerly the Esquire Theater, of course!). Entertainment provided by local theater veterans Robin Schwartz, Greg Dunton and Charles Cossey. We're inviting fans of the theater and lovers of history
