Join the Klamath County Museum and volunteer amateur astronomers in viewing the comet Neowise. It may be the best comet you’ll see during your lifetime.
(Hopefully there will be a “great comet” someday soon, but one never knows.)
We’ll be set up at sunset Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings in the parking lot west of Marina II at Moore Park on Lakeshore Drive. The site is slightly less than a half-mile west of the main entrance to Moore Park proper, along Lakeshore Drive. Look for blue “star party” signs.
Best viewing will be between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m.
This event is sponsored by the Klamath County Museum in partnership with Klamath Falls City Parks.
