A truly unique night of entertainment! Join your favorite local performers in a way you never have seen them before and will see them again…quite literally. An ode to musicals, theater, comedy, and tragedy, this unique cabaret-style show will feature numerous, one-of-a-kind acts sure to make your smile, tap your toes and maybe even shed a nostalgic tear or two.
Based on the tradition of Broadways Backwards, a yearly fundraiser for Broadway Cares, in which people who would normally never be case as a certain part &due to age, gender, ethnicity, vocal range, body type or…whatever) get a chance to stretch their wings and turn theater on it’s ear.
Maybe be a burly male will perform Lady McB’s famous soliloquy, maybe a septuagenerian will sing I Am 16 Going on 17 or, perhaps, a group of women will lament about fortune and love in Luck Be a Lady… whatever happens, it’s sure to be an evening of fun, frivolity and an overall, lopsided good time!
