On December 11th beginning at 12:30Pm VFW Post 1383 is hosting a Celebration of Honor for one of our Members, John Boehm. John is turning 100 years of age this month. John is a Veteran of WW11, having served in North Africa and Europe in the 3rd Army of the United States under the Command of General George Patton. John will be attired in his issued Army Class A Uniform complete with Ribbons and Metals awarded to him for his WWII Service. There is no cost for attending the Celebration, other than tabs at the Canteen (Bar). The event is open to the public for all persons 21 years of age or older. Please come and meet one our Community Heroes.
