First Day Snow Shoe Hike

Collier Memorial State Park 2023 First Day Hike will be January 1, 2023 from 10 AM- 12 PM, and led by Park Ranger Ed Abell. REGISTRATION IS REQUESTED (see phone number below). The meeting location is Collier Logging Museum Parking Lot. The hike will be on Williamson River Trail loop, a flat dirt trail on our wooded riverside with eagles nesting, and with river and forest views. Bring your camera! Pets are welcome as long as they are accompanied on a leash. Bring a litre or more of water, snacks, and layers of clothes for a variety of potential weather conditions. Dress appropriately for our local winter conditions.

Check the weather and road conditions in the AM prior to your arrival. Depending on conditions you may need snow shoes. We do not provide snow shoes. If snow shoes are needed you will need to rent them, prior.
