The Klamath Falls Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) will be hosting a Chocolate Walk Fundraiser in Downtown Klamath Falls to coincide with Small Business Saturday on November 26, 2022, from noon until 4:00 pm.
If you are not familiar with the Chocolate Walk concept, you and your customers are in for a decadent treat! Chocolate Walks are similar in nature to “Sip N’ Shops”; however, this can be enjoyed by the whole family!
For this event, participants, also known as, “Chocolate Walkers” will be equipped with a Chocolate Walk ID badge, container, and passport that will list sponsoring/participating businesses. Chocolate Walkers will be able to receive one chocolate from each participating business. This is a great way to showcase your store for the holidays and your opportunity to get creative! Chocolate Walkers will vote for their favorite business at the end of their journey!
Please note that nonfood and beverage establishments are asked to provide a store-bought item per County Health Code requirements, but don’t worry, there are still ways to make your treat fun and exciting.
The goal of this event is to provide a family friendly outing and raise money for the local DAV Chapter. The DAV is an excellent community resource and provides support and services to veterans and their dependents from community donations. The DAV provides the following for Veterans: assistance in filing VA benefit applications, free transportation to VA medical appointments, free food boxes throughout the year to any Veteran and their dependents, and emergency financial assistance.
