Auditions for ‘Psycho Night at the Paradise Lounge’ at Linkville Playhouse
KLAMATH FALLS, OR, Monday, August 29th, 2022 – The Linkville Players will hold open auditions for ‘Psycho Night at the Paradise Lounge’ at 6:30PM on Monday, September 12th and Tuesday, September 13th at the Linkville Playhouse. With callbacks on Wednesday, September 14th if necessary.
Kitty Burns’ comedy ‘Psycho Night at the Paradise Lounge’ will be the second production of Linkville’s 2022/2023 theatrical season. The production will be directed by Amanda Boese in her Linkville directorial debut.
Auditions consist of a cold reading from the script. No preparation is needed, and familiarity with the script is not required. Individuals of all levels of experience are invited to audition.
The play calls for a cast of seven women, seven men, with four roles that could be either gender. There are no roles for children but mature teens that appear older are encouraged to audition.
Community members interested in auditioning for the play are asked to wear comfortable clothing and plan to arrive at the theater at least fifteen minutes prior to the beginning of auditions to complete an audition form and become familiar with the details of this new production.
Those wishing to audition for the female lead role should come prepared with one chorus of a song of their choice.
Rehearsals will begin on Monday, Sept 19, and will be nightly Monday through Thursday of each week.
Show dates are set for Friday, November 11 through Saturday, December 3. There will be eight evening performances and one Sunday Matinee on November 27.
